Our Hospital Receives the Quality Achievements Award 2023
Kyushu University Hospital has received the Quality Achievements Award 2023 from the ESQR (European Society for Quality Research) based on in Lausanne, Switzerland.
The award recognizes organizations that have demonstrated a commitment to improvement and achieved outstanding results in quality management. The trophy and certificate were presented at an awards ceremony held in Dubai, UAE, on December 10, 2023.
The ESQR is an organization dedicated to quality improvement techniques recognition and research. The award winning organizations are selected by ESQR based on the results of the ESQR’s polls, consumer opinion research and market study. The selection process includes as well the research of public information sources, publications and projects. This year, 49 organizations from 41 countries were honored.
Kyushu University Hospital has always provided cutting-edge medical care, while at the same time thoroughly pursuing safety by establishing a Medical Safety Management Department, an organization under the direct control of the hospital director, to achieve "state-of-the-art yet safe". These daily efforts have been highly evaluated and resulted in this award.
