Kyushu University Hospital has been named in Newsweek's annual ranking of the world's best hospitals, World's Best Hospitals 2024, for the second year in a row. It is ranked 69th in the world and 4th in Japan (2nd as a national university hospital).

The ranking is based on multiple evaluation criteria, including recommendations from healthcare professionals, results of patient satisfaction surveys and hospital quality indicators for more than 2,400 hospitals in 30 countries around the world, and the hospital has been ranked fourth in the country for four consecutive years.
