Request for Cooperation in Response to COVID-19
Kyushu University Hospital strives to take further countermeasures against infectious diseases in order to maintain the hospital function. We appreciate your continuous cooperation in taking the following measures against the infectious diseases.
Things to Be Checked before Coming to the Hospital
If you meet any of the following criteria, please consult with the department you are planning to visit before coming to the clinic.
1)Cold symptoms (cough, phlegm, sore throat, etc.)
2)Continuous fever over 37.5℃
3)Severe fatigue and shortness of breath
4)Loss of smell/taste
5)Have been in close contact with a person known to have COVID-19 in the past 7 days
6)Have been overseas or been in a crowded area in the past 7 days
7)If your family members got infected COVID-19
Facemask and Hand Hygiene
Please be sure to wear a mask in the hospital. We also ask for your cooperation in hand hygiene.
Temperature Check at the Entrance of the Outpatient Ward
Non-contact thermometers are installed. Temperature measurement is at the patient's discretion. Please follow the directions of the staff if your temperature is over 37.5℃.
Medical Questionnaire in Response to COVID-19
You will be asked to fill out a medical questionnaire regarding the novel coronavirus at the time of your first visit or admission. Thank you for your cooperation.
Outings and Overnight Stays for Inpatients
Inpatients are allowed to go out and stay overnight at home and in places where they can wear masks at all times. Please check with the hospital ward for details.
Hospital Entrance
Please enter and leave the hospital during the daytime at the entrance of the Outpatient Ward, the North Ward, and the connecting corridor (in the 2nd Parking Lot). The Emergency Outpatient (After Hours Reception) entrance in the South Ward is for nighttime and emergency patients only.
